Experience

I have litigated on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in contract, intellectual property, personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home cases.  My clients have included individuals as well as nationally known corporations.  I am a member of the Georgia Bar, the Florida Bar, The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers.

Prior to my legal career, I became a licensed practical nurse in 1980, then a registered nurse in 1993.  I am actively licensed as a registered nurse in both Georgia and in Florida.  As a nurse, I worked in a variety of clinical settings, and a considerable amount of my practice involved quality assurance, with an emphasis on emergency medicine quality management.
